Utah Man Sentenced to 30 Years in Prison for Killing Wife on Cruise Ship

According to court documents, Manzanares beat his wife to death during an argument in their cabin on the ship. The incident occurred on July 19, 2022, while the ship was docked in Ketchikan, Alaska.
WEB Manzanares was arrested by U.S. Marshals after the ship returned to Seattle, Washington.
He was charged with murder and pleaded guilty in March 2023. During his sentencing hearing, the judge cited the brutality of the crime and Manzanares' lack of remorse as factors in imposing the maximum sentence.
